ESPECIALLY FROM A TV SHOW

NO ONE SHOULD EVER WATCH GAME OF THRONES IT WILL BREAK YOUR HEART A MILLION TIMES OVER 

MY MOM MADE ME TALK ABOUT THE EPISODE AND I STARTED SOBBING AGIN

I honestly don’t like Clara as a companion. She’s probably my second to least favorite companion.

I think she’s kind of ruining Eleven for me, so that’s why I don’t mind Matt leaving. Because I feel like when Matt leaves, Clara will leave soon after so I don’t have to deal with her anymore when Matt leaves. 

THAT SOUNDS SO HEARTLESS but honestly, I just DO NOT like Clara’s character. Her character was so rushed and just put into the story, I don’t like it. It only took half a season to figure out who Clara was. It only took like two episodes for Clara to fall in love with the Doctor. Her character was so rushed and it makes me hate her. She had so much potential but the writers tried to solve the mystery of her so quickly, unlike River Song. 

I think another reason I don’t like Clara is because I keep comparing her to River. Season 6 and River’s storyline is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing about Doctor Who so far. She is my favorite character, probably even above the Doctor himself. And having Clara put in with Eleven right after River’s storyline ruins it because River is such an AMAZING character that was built out so well and here we have Clara, just plopped down next to Eleven so suddenly.

I think she’s the reason why I don’t feel sad for Eleven’s regeneration. It sounds extremely heartless, but I honestly think that’s the reason why. Ok end opinions.

 #this was one of THE MOST BRILLIANT moments in remakes on televion #ever #they found a way to slide in a gorgeous salute to the canon while keeping it completely realistic and NOT overpersuing the idea #I fucking love this show #YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW

#The best part is that it’s not just a salute to the canon #It makes fun of what the collective canon has done with the detective image #Because Sherlock Holmes in the ACD canon doesn’t have that perpetual deerstalker #So it pays tribute to the image while also pointing out that it’s a little bit silly #But at the same time respecting it and having fun with it #THAT is how you adapt an decades of literary tradition and canonical development into something new
